Musala – the highest peak of the Balkan peninsula


Musala (2925 m /9596 ft.) is the highest point of the Rila National Park, Bulgaria and the Balkan peninsula.

In the morning we take the gondola lift (just a few meters of our hotel) and we will reach the summit of Yastrebets (2363 m). From there starts our hike via Musala Hut, the cirque of the Musala Lakes and the highest one of them Ledeno Ezero (2710 m) (The Icy Lake).

The Rila monastery - UNESCO World Heritage Site


Founded in the 10th century by the Saint Ivan Rilski, hidden in the deep valley of Rilska River and the old forests of Rila Monastery Nature Park, the Rila monastery is the biggest and the most beautiful monastery in Bulgaria.

We will visit the main church “The Assumption of the Virigin Mary” with exeptional frescoes, a miraculous icon and the grave of the last Bulgarian King Boris III, and the museum of the monastery with its most spectacular treasure - the Rafail‘s wooden cross.

The Seven Lakes – the beautiful heart of the Rila National Park


This day starts with transfer by bus (50 km) for passing in the Northwestern part of the Rila National Park. The chair lift will help us to reach the Rilski ezera mountain hotel (2150 m).

A few hours walk around the lakes will open for us the magical charm of one of the most beautiful places in the Bulgarian mountains – the Cirque of the Seven Lakes of Rila.

Plovdiv city – more than 8 000 years of history


Situaded of the two banks of the Maritsa river, Plodiv is the biggest town in the South part of Bulgaria. Our guided tour will show us the spectacular reaches of history, culture and architecture of Plovdiv - The European Capital of Culture 2019.
